Couples Coach

Relationship therapy for couples

Creating a healthier view for your relationship together

Here at Couples Coach we believe that you are the experts in your own relationship and our role is to merely help guide you back towards a more positive and committed loving experience.

If you find that the spark has gone out of your relationship, or that you feel constant frustration, anger or unhappiness with your partner. If your love life has fizzled or perhaps died completely, or you have experienced relationship altering trauma such as infidelity or bereavement, and it feels that your relationship has broken down completely. Then perhaps we can help to get you back onto the road again, to enable you to continue along your journey together with less bumps in the road.

If however, your relationship has reached an impasse and you wish to separate in a healthy manner; we are also able to facilitate a healthy uncoupling should you require it.

Relationship difficulties arise within EVERY relationship. Whether it is within a traditional 2 person committed relationship, a traditional marriage, arranged marriage, same-sex partnership, poly-relationship or long-distance relationship.

We all experience the ebb and flow within the dynamics during our time together, and we all experience the pain that our loved ones cause us; as well as witness the pain that WE put onto the people that we claim to love.

Traditional counselling and psychotherapy looks primarily at the individual; and many models of couple work extrapolate from this within their framework, sometimes lose focus on the relationship itself.

Couples Coach therapists are all highly qualified in one to one work and have trained in traditional couple counselling as well. However; although we acknowledge and recognise the importance of everyone’s individual journey, and the parts they play within relationship. We maintain our focus on the relationship itself, and the ruptures that are caused TO each other BY one another.

Couple Coaching, Couple Counselling, Marriage Guidance, Relationship Therapy or whatever name you wish to give it is by no means an easy task and should not be entered into lightly.

It is a well known fact that roughly 50% of all marriages end in divorce, and so just coming to see a Couples Coach will NOT guarantee your relationship will be the 50% that succeed.

Before entering into relationship work you need to make sure you are committed to each other AND to the work itself as it will be hard; but as our clients who have entered into this process with us would attest, it’s well worth it in the end.

We work both face to face as well as online and offer our initial session without an obligation to continue should we not feel that we are the right fit for each other.

“We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship and we can be healed in relationship.”
